With just 17 days left, sa kahit saang lugar ka pumunta ngayon sa Pilipinas, hindi maiiwasan na mapagusapan ang politika.
Lahat may kanya-kanyang manok na.
It was just last week when me and my friends hangout. And one of them is a Noynoy supporter, an active volunteer of the Yellow Camp.
I asked her. Why Noynoy?
This was her answer.
“Eh kasi idol ko si Cory eh.”
I was like, “WHAT! and???”
“Mabait sya. Alam kong hindi sya magiging kurakot.”
“and???”
“ayon!”
I know, she is not the only Noynoy supporter/volunteer who has the same reasoning of why they choose Noynoy as their president.
Cory is different from Noynoy. Ninoy is way too different from Noynoy. It doesn’t mean that if your parents are mabait, mabait ka na din. Kabaitan is not hereditary. And what is their basis of Noynoy not being corrupt? What a baseless and illogical assumption! If you’re after “KABAITAN”, there is someone who is a better choice than Noynoy.
My point is, in choosing a candidate this May 10, 2010, PLEASE
BE WISER. BE INTELLIGENT.
CONSIDER THE PLATFORMS, TRACK RECORD, and EXPERIENCE of a candidate. CHOOSE someone who KNOWS WHAT TO DO and has the ABILITY TO DO. A candidate who WALKS THE TALKS. A candidate who PRACTICED a PLATFORM-BASED of CAMPAIGN not DIRTY POLITICS and BLACK PROPAGANDA.
Let us be OBJECTIVE not EMOTIONAL. Let us be DISCERNING and CRITICAL. Let’s us be OPEN-MINDED and ANALYTICAL. MEDIA sometimes is MOCKERY.
Our FUTURE is what at stake here. Our country needs someone who has all the qualifications a president must have. The presidency doesn’t need someone who will undergo on the job training once elected. Philippines is at a very poor condition.
Similar to the life of Manny Villar, he was once a poor man but because of “Sipag and Tyaga”, he has overcome poverty, he is what he is NOW. He really KNOWS WHAT TO DO armed with his track record and experience. Our Country needs him.

I totally agree with your observations/opinion about Noynoy.
He is not the right man for the job.
After the purest intentions (as I believe all of the presidentiables have laid down on the table), other points in the checklist should be validated.
Unfortunately, Noynoy’s stopped after checkliust number 1.

ok, tanong lang, ikaw… bilang Noynoy supporter, paano ba nya malulutas ang kahirapan? give me an objective answer on how he can eradicate poverty? wag mong isama ang emotions mo. coz anyone can claim the they can eradicate poverty. well, in Noynoy’s case, he doesn’t have the track record and experience which is a gauge for competent leadership.
in comparison to Villar, the man has an enourmous track record which is SUKATAN ng isang pagiging magaling na leader. hindi puro SALITA. may napatunayan na at may nagawa!
sa paggasta naman ni Villar, hindi nya babawiin ang mga nagastos nya sa kampanya. as simple as that. why? it may sound arrogant pero, sobrang dami nyang pera. hindi nya kailangan bawiin. at isa pa… his source of campaign funds is solely his OWN MONEY. thus, if he wins, wala syang pagkakautangan ng loob. wala syang dapat bayaran na mga malalaking negosyante.
eh si Noynoy? saan nya nakuha ang campaign funds nya? wala naman syang negosyo para magkaroon ng ganong kalaking pera. kasi… galing sa mga malalaking negosyante ang perang ginagamit nya which in return, if he wins, babayaran nya ito… dahil malaki ang UTANG NA LOOB niya sa mga ito. tuwang-tuwa na naman ang mga mayayaman at elitista. kawawang mahihirap. thus, yan ang tinatawaG na Aquinorroyo.
